WINNER - 'Christmas Shades of Pink' by Tamara Artuch from Giltbrook in Nottinghamshire

About Tamara
Tamara started Card Making about 2 years ago when she was forced to take several months away from her work due to illness.

She makes Birthday & Christmas Cards for her friends and family, and it's a large family, so there are lots to make!

They all really appreciate the Cards she creates for them and everyone looks forward to receiving one from her now.

She finds designing and making Cards very therapeutic. Although she says it can be a bit stressful if things don't go quite right, like making a mistake just as she's finishing making a Card!

How Tamara created her Cards
Tamara provided a super set of instructions for creating her Cards.

Materials (for each Card)
1 sheet A4 White Card 250gsm
2 sheest A4 White Card 160gsm
1 sheet A4 White Paper 90gsm (for Card Insert)
2cm Flower Punch by Woodware
Liquid Pearls in 'Pink Petal'
Gold Metallic Stars by Creative Craft
Metallic Thread / Ribbon (for Bows)

For 'Blossom' Card (lighter shade)
1. Print Solid Paper Design in 'Blossom' onto 250gsm Card. Trim to 8" x 8", folding to create an 8" x 4" Card Base. Score along all 4 edges.

2. Print Snowflake Overlay (negative version) in 'Rose' onto 160gsm Card. Punch 15 flowers, making sure the snowflakes are in the centre of your punched shape.

3. Cut a pot and a stem from scraps of the 'Rose' printed Card.

4. Print Sentiments onto 160gsm White Card and cut out a 'Merry Christmas' Sentiment. Secure it to the top of the Pot and secure the Pot to the Card using 3D Foam Pad. Secure the stem to the Card Base.

5. Arrange and secure the punched flowers in a tree-shape using 3D Foam Pads and add a dot of Liquid Pearls to the centre of each one.

6. Add a layered star to the top of the tree and a bow to the Pot.
