FINALIST - 'Sprinkly Trees!' by Janet Sherwin from Gnosall Staffordshire

About Janet
Janet has been designing and making Cards for about 20 years - long before it became so popular.

She has always tended to make quite traditional-type Cards, but is nnow making more modern and contemporary Cards. She finds using colour and bold designs such a nice change.

How Janet created her Card
1. Janet created her Card Base from a sheet ot silver-coloured Mirror Card, layered a Striped Paper Design in 'Pink' onto it and trimmed it with silver-coloured peel-off strips.

2. She printed a 'C' Monogram onto a Harlequin Paper Design in 'Pink', cut it out and mounted it onto her Card using 3D Foam Pads.

3. Onto a piece of glossy Card, she stamped with a word stamp and clear embossing ink and then brayered over it with 3 different embossing inks. She cut it into 3 pieces to create the Tags, trimmed each one with 15mm Organza Ribbon and secured them to the Card base.

4. She cut tree shapes freehand from Glue Dots Double-Sided Punch Tape and applied 2 pink glitters. They were then secured to the Card and a hand-drawn sentiments was added to finish.
